On the evening of July 23, nearly the entire territory of Georgia experienced a widespread power outage. Residents of Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Telavi, Borjomi, Zugdidi, and a number of other cities and towns across the country were left without power. In some areas, the power outages also led to partial disruptions in the water supply.
