The Chisinau City Hall reports that 31 August 1989 Street, Alexandru Chel Bun Street, and Tigina Street—three major thoroughfares in the center of the capital—have undergone major repairs as part of the “Chisinau—City Roads” project.

Today, as part of projects by the Energy Efficiency Fund in Moldova’s Residential Sector (FEERM), the first seven contracts for construction work were signed for high-rise buildings in Chisinau, Hincesti, Ialoveni, and Balti. Work is already underway in four buildings, and will begin in the other three shortly.
