The project is divided into two lots. The first, valued at 6.16 million lei, includes work in the towns of Briceni, Drochia, and Otaci, as well as in the village of Respopeni in the Soldănești District. The second lot, valued at 3.41 million lei, involves the construction of sidewalks in Suruceni (Ialoveni District), Vulcănești (Nisporeni District), and the municipality of Cădîr-Lunga.
The most extensive work is planned in Otaci, where a sidewalk approximately 1.5 kilometers long will be built, and in Drochia, where the project involves the construction of a section approximately 1.37 kilometers long. In other localities, sidewalks ranging from several hundred meters to nearly 700 meters in length will be built.
According to the project documentation, the work is not limited to paving the sidewalks. Contractors will remove damaged sidewalks and curbs, carry out earthwork and lay a crushed stone foundation, install new curbs, and pave the sidewalks with 6-centimeter-thick concrete slabs. The project also includes the improvement of access roads to public facilities and the enhancement of green spaces near the sidewalks.
Additional work is planned in some localities. A public transportation stop will be built in Respopeni, and stormwater drainage channels will be constructed in Chadyr-Lunga.
Interested companies may submit bids until August 11, 2026, after which the procurement process will be completed and contractors will be selected to carry out the work.
