One of the world’s most unusual collections—17,000 horseshoes—was unveiled in Moldova.

On August 17, the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia officially declared the position of head of the autonomous region vacant following the entry into force of the court’s guilty verdict against the autonomous region’s Bashkan, Evghenia Guțul. However, the deputies have not yet been able to set a date for the election of a new head of Gagauzia.

Four pipelines crossing the Prut River will provide water from Romania to approximately 120,000 residents of Moldova. In the future, this number could rise to 250,000 people.
