A feasibility study for the project is currently being developed. All decisions must take into account requirements for environmental protection, soil and water conservation, as well as the safety of residents, said Grigore Stratulat, State Secretary of the Ministry of the Environment.
The new center will enable waste management to be carried out under modern and controlled conditions and reduce its environmental impact.
The project is being implemented with the support of European Union partners.
