Warm, windy weather and a lack of significant precipitation are increasing the risk of fires in most parts of the country. The State Hydrometeorological Service of Moldova has issued a “yellow” fire danger warning for the period from July 10 to 17, 2026.

Berlin authorities intend to radically change the rules of the game in the rental housing market. Members of the city’s House of Representatives are set to give final approval to a law that will require apartment owners to disclose detailed information about all rental properties. If the law takes effect, Berlin will become the first region in Germany with a unified digital registry of rental housing.

After a three-month hiatus, Russia reinstated the floating export duty on wheat effective July 8. The rate is 370.1 rubles per metric ton (about $4.9 per metric ton). The duty will remain in effect until at least July 15, after which it may be revised.

The implementation of the new law on vehicle compliance certification will require additional spending and an expansion of the administrative apparatus; however, the government has not disclosed how much this will cost.
