Moldovan President Maia Sandu has received the Order of European Merit. This is a new award established on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration. Its goal is to recognize an outstanding contribution to the European integration and protection of the EU values. The head of state called the award a great honor.

The number of cars registered in Moldova in 2025 exceeded 1.38 million, increasing by 210 thousand units over three years. Dense traffic is especially felt in the capital. In Chisinau, about 400 thousand cars travel daily, which provokes constant traffic jams, worsens the environmental situation and overloads the city’s infrastructure.
