
In total, 113,700 tonnes of agri-food products were exported from Ukraine via road border crossings, according to analysts at SPIKE BROKERS. The average daily volume of shipments stood at 11,370 tonnes.
Poultry meat was the country’s largest commodity category in road exports, totalling 10,3 thousand tonnes. Road transport also carried 7,5 thousand tonnes of sunflower oil, 6,9 thousand tonnes of rapeseed and 6,8 thousand tonnes of fruit and nuts.
Furthermore, during the first ten days of September, 5.6 thousand tonnes of ethyl alcohol, 5.4 thousand tonnes of sugar and 4.9 thousand tonnes of soya meal were exported from Ukraine by road.
