This Policy explains how the Logos Press website (logos-pres.md) uses cookies and similar technologies, including localStorage. It applies to all language versions of the website.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored in a user’s browser by a website or a connected service. They may be required for the website to function, remember preferences, measure audience activity, or provide additional features.
Cookie categories we use
Necessary cookies. These are required for the basic operation of the website and for storing your cookie choices. They cannot be disabled in the consent settings because your selected privacy preferences could not otherwise be stored correctly.
Analytics cookies. These are used to measure website traffic and understand how visitors interact with our content. Logos Press uses Yandex Metrica and Microsoft Clarity. These technologies are activated only after you provide consent.
Separately, we operate our own article-view counter. It stores nothing on your device — no cookies, no localStorage — and creates no visitor identifiers: it only increments a total per article, language and day. Being strictly aggregated measurement, it works regardless of your cookie choice.
Functional cookies. These are used for services such as Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, YouTube videos and Google reCAPTCHA. The related external content and third-party requests are loaded only after consent for functional cookies.
Advertising cookies. As of the date of this Policy, no separate advertising or retargeting cookies have been confirmed on the public version of the website. If such technologies are introduced, they will be activated only after separate consent and this Policy will be updated before launch.
Legal basis
Necessary cookies are used only to the extent required for the technical operation of the website and to record your privacy preferences. Analytics and optional functional technologies are used on the basis of your consent. You may change or withdraw your consent at any time.

* The duration and set of Yandex Metrica cookies may vary depending on tag configuration, browser, and provider settings. Yandex states 1 year for _ym_uid, 20 hours for _ym_isad, and 60 minutes for _ym_metrika_enabled. Google Maps may use third-party cookies/storage whose names and retention are controlled by Google. We intentionally do not list unverified Google cookie names.
Third-party services
Yandex Metrica (Yandex) — used for traffic statistics, traffic-source analysis, and understanding interaction with the website. Before analytics consent is given, the tag does not send analytics data or set analytics cookies.
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — used for click maps, scroll maps and session recordings in order to improve website usability. Before analytics consent is given, the service is not loaded and sets no cookies.
Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) — used as a tag-management container. It is not treated as a separate cookie category: every tag inside the container fires strictly according to the consent state selected by the user.
Google Maps (Google LLC) — used on the Contacts page to display an interactive map. Until functional-cookie consent is provided, the map is replaced with a neutral placeholder offering the user an option to allow this category.
YouTube, OpenStreetMap and Google reCAPTCHA — are used, where applicable, for videos, currency maps and registration-form protection. These services load only after consent for the functional category.
How to change or withdraw consent
You can open at any time using the round cookie button in the bottom-left corner of the screen, change the selected categories or withdraw consent previously given. After consent is withdrawn, the relevant optional technologies are not loaded on subsequent page views.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may reset some website preferences.
