ANRE’s decision is justified by the escalating situation in the Middle East and the increased risks associated with global supplies of petroleum products. All this has led to a significant rise in international prices for petroleum products. In recent days, the Platts price per tonne of diesel has exceeded $1,570/t, and the price per tonne of petrol has exceeded $1,360/t.
At the same time, ANRE’s management assures that, although the Moldovan market is susceptible to the impact of regional and global disruptions in supply chains, current fuel stock levels are sufficient to meet current consumption and are under constant monitoring by the relevant authorities.
