    Structural Changes in Grain Exports from Moldova

    The International Grains Council (IGC) has raised its forecast for global corn production in the 2026/27 marketing year to 1.31 billion metric tons. This is 10 million metric tons higher than the organization’s May estimate. However, the current forecast for the global corn harvest in the upcoming season is still lower than last year’s harvest of this crop (1.339 billion metric tons).
