Romanian President Nicusor Dan on May 4 instructed his honorary adviser Eugen Tomac, a member of the European Parliament, to form a new government after Ilie Bolojan’s cabinet was dissolved by a vote of no confidence last month.

Moldova for the first time legislates the concept of “shelter” for the protection of cultural property moving from conflict and emergency zones.

Last year, the degree of utilization of funds from external sources amounted to 96.2%, decreasing compared to the previous year. At a meeting on May 13, the Moldovan cabinet approved the appointment of Ambassador Corina Călugăru to the post of state secretary at the Foreign Ministry. Prior to this appointment, she served as ambassador for special missions within the Foreign Ministry.
