
Maia Sandu
Four of the new ambassadors represent European Union member states and will be based in Chișinău. These are Martina Hermann, Ambassador of Austria; Siiri Königsberg, Ambassador of Estonia; Mindaugas Kacerauskis, Ambassador of Lithuania; and Esselin Hermien Theresia van Eerten, Ambassador of the Netherlands.
Norway, which is part of the European Economic Area, is represented by Ambassador Anne Kjersti Amundsen, who is also based in Chișinău. On behalf of Montenegro, an EU candidate country, the letters of credence were presented by Ambassador Danilo Braević, who is based in Bucharest.
In addition, letters of credence were presented to Maia Sandu by the Cuban Ambassador, Alexander Valentín Rodríguez Salazar, who is based in Bucharest; the Ghanaian Ambassador, Koma Stim Jehu-Appiah, who is based in Moscow; and the Panamanian Ambassador, Jorge Ricardo Silén Santacoloma, who is based in Warsaw.
