Festival-goers had the opportunity to learn more about wine culture, grape varieties and the gastronomic traditions of the Republic of Moldova through tastings and masterclasses led by experts in these fields. Eugeniu Osmocesk, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, who was present at the event, noted the growing interest among the Romanian public in Moldovan wines.

“I am delighted to see that our produce is appreciated abroad,” remarked the Minister of MAIA. “Romania remains the main export market for wines from the Republic of Moldova, with exports totalling approximately $45 million in 2025. Around 70 Moldovan wineries are represented on the Romanian market. I hope that this introduction to Moldovan wine will not end with the festival. The wines we have presented here will remain in demand in the future, find their way onto people’s tables and help shape our country’s image abroad.”
