The Customs Service transferred 881.11 million lei to the budget between 1 and 6 September 2026

Between 1 and 6 September 2026, revenue from the Customs Service to the state budget amounted to over 881.11 million lei, which is 121.6 per cent higher than the target figure for the reporting period.

Since the start of this year, customs has collected approximately 29.04 billion lei for the state budget, which is 103.3 per cent above the target.

At the same time, between 1 and 6 September 2026, private individuals imported goods whose value at customs exceeded the tax-free allowance, resulting in the collection of approximately 17.6 million lei, which accounts for 2 per cent of the total amount collected during the corresponding period.

Furthermore, 10,659 customs declarations were processed over the past week, whilst the flow of vehicles totalled 75,049 crossings. The busiest customs posts remain Leușen and Sculeen, with 15,227 and 12,979 crossings respectively.
