In particular, the following benefits are paid: one-off childbirth grants, child-rearing/childcare allowances, allowances for raising twins, paternity allowances, maternity allowances, and temporary incapacity benefits.

Beneficiaries of these payments can collect them once the payments have been processed via the state electronic payment system (MPay).

In this regard, the National Social Security Commission (NSSC) reminds recipients of pensions, child benefits, maternity benefits, temporary incapacity benefits and other social payments that there are two ways to receive the money.

Firstly, they can open a social bank card or link any existing bank account to their social benefits via the EVO app and receive the money anywhere in the world.

Secondly, you can collect the money at any post office in Moldova. However, recipients who choose to receive their payments by postal order must collect the money within three months. If the money is not collected within this period, payments will be suspended.

To resume payments, the recipient must contact their local social insurance office with proof of identity and submit the relevant application to have payments reinstated via postal service.
