RBC reported on this, citing a statement by US President Donald Trump on the social media platform Truth Social.
“Ukraine has agreed not to strike Russian energy facilities. Russia has agreed to do the same! The rise in global diesel prices is caused mainly by the war between Russia and Ukraine, not Iran,” the publication quotes the US president as saying.
As Logos Press previously reported, yesterday Donald Trump called on Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy to stop attacking diesel production facilities in Russia, as this is driving up fuel prices worldwide.
