The training was attended by representatives of the State Inspectorate for the Supervision of Non-Food Products and Consumer Protection (ISSPNPC), the Agency for the Regulation of Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ARCOM), the National Commission for the Financial Market (CNPF), the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE), the National Public Health Agency (ANSP), the courts, civil society organisations and the European Consumer Centre.
The session followed on from similar training courses organised by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalisation in cooperation with the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ).
As noted in the ministry’s statement, the session focused primarily on the mechanisms for implementing Directive (EU) 2020/1828 on representative actions for the protection of the collective interests of consumers. These sessions contribute to strengthening institutional capacity and aligning the national regulatory framework with EU standards in the field of consumer protection.
