According to the draft, the certification procedure will also include architects working within local public administration authorities and inspectors from the National Inspectorate for Technical Supervision. Certificates will be issued exclusively via the SIA ‘GEAP’ information system.
The draft also removes from the list of mandatory documents the medical certificate, a copy of the identity document and two references, which were required under the previous regulation.
At the same time, the proposed amendments will help to reduce the time required to submit applications and simplify the certification procedure for construction specialists. Furthermore, they will facilitate the participation of specialists from European Union Member States in the certification procedure.
