The programme features lectures and discussions on artificial intelligence, the history of the 1903 Kishinev pogrom, Jewish humour, the history of the Kishinev Jewish People’s Theatre, family relationships and the phenomenon of Israeli society.
A separate section of the programme is dedicated to Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and Yom Kippur – the Day of Atonement. Lectures will be given by the Chief Rabbi of Moldova, Menachem Mendel Axelrod, Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Axelrod and Rabbi Menachem Mendl Gotzel of Bender.
Israeli historian and tour guide David Weinstein will join the forum online.
In September, festival events will also take place in Rîșcani and Cahul. The programme includes exhibitions, musical and literary evenings, meetings, educational events and kosher wine tastings.
