The Romanian Ministry of Finance will allocate 100 million euros for a program for Romanians living abroad who want to start a business in the country. The program is called “Diaspora Investește Acasă” (“Diaspora Investește Acasă”). The program provides loans up to 500,000 euros, with a grant component of up to 60% of the investment loan, but not more than 200,000 euros.

Moldovan citizens living abroad will be able to get acquainted with job offers in their home country within the second Online Career Fair for the Diaspora. It will take place on June 11, 2026 from 14:00 Moldovan time.

Moldovan President Maia Sandu has signed an agreement on mutual recognition and exchange of driving licenses in Ireland. The document was signed during an official visit to Ireland, where the head of state held meetings with President Catherine Connolly, Prime Minister Michol Martin and Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris.
