Depending on the region, wages can be paid for baskets or kilograms collected, as well as hourly and monthly. Offers range from a few zloty per basket to 8 thousand zloty gross per month (about 1.88 thousand euros).
Workers are sought not only for strawberry harvesting, but also for plantation maintenance. Work experience is often not required, but employment throughout the season is offered. This is reported by Farmer with reference to the media in Ukraine (a major supplier of seasonal workers for Poland).
