AI-95 gasoline will increase in price by three bani, to 30.01 lei. At the same time, diesel fuel will become cheaper by seven bani and will cost 31.90 lei.

This stability indicates that international markets remain calm; during the crisis in the Middle East, prices rose by approximately 50% and are now subject to only minimal daily fluctuations.

There are currently no other macroeconomic factors worldwide that could drastically affect the situation in this area.

However, at the local level, authorities in some countries are implementing measures to ease the burden on drivers.

For example, Romania has begun implementing a “dynamic excise tax” mechanism, which aims to quickly reduce the cost of petroleum products for end consumers.

The Ministry of Finance of this neighboring country announced that from August 16 to 31, the excise tax on fuel will be temporarily reduced by 20%.

The Romanian Ministry of Finance expects this decision to have an almost immediate impact on fuel prices.
