The General Directorate of the Chișinău Municipal Prosecutor’s Office provided an update on the progress of the investigation. The operation was carried out jointly with the municipal police, with the support of the General Directorate for Combating Fraud of the State Tax Service.

According to the investigation, buyers transferred money under the pretence of purchasing flats. Subsequently, the company failed to meet its obligations to creditors, and its directors allegedly took steps to dispose of assets, which led to the company’s bankruptcy.

On 28 October 2026, law enforcement officers carried out 20 searches at the offices, homes and vehicles of individuals who may be involved in the case.

During the investigative operations, mobile phones, accounting and project documents, SIM cards, data storage devices and luxury items were seized. Law enforcement officers also discovered a car worth 3.705 million lei.

The seized items and materials will be sent for forensic analysis and further examination. This is necessary to establish the circumstances of the case and verify the evidence gathered.

As a result of these operations, six people were detained.
