The first 500 targets have already been identified, he said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with exiled Belarusian opposition leader Svitlana Tikhanovska in Kiev on Tuesday.

“Lukashenko said it was time for the presidents of Ukraine and Belarus to meet, and then Svetlana Tikhanovska arrived,” Euronews quoted Zelensky as saying.

Last week, the Ukrainian president said Kiev was ready to take “preventive” measures against Moscow and the Belarusian leadership because of potential military threats to northern Ukraine.

According to Zelensky, the “de facto leadership of Belarus” should “keep its ear to the ground and realize that there are inevitable consequences in case of aggressive actions against Ukraine.”

He said this during a trip to Slavutych, a town located about 50 kilometers from the Belarusian border.

Earlier, in April, Zelensky also said that, according to the Ukrainian military, Belarus was building roads to the Ukrainian border and deploying artillery positions near Ukraine.
