Fuel prices continue to rise

The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has approved new maximum prices for gasoline and diesel fuel, which will take effect on August 25.

As a result, the maximum price for 95-octane gasoline will be 30 lei and 95 bani (13 bani more than today) per liter, and diesel fuel will cost 33.30 lei (24 bani more) per liter.

At the same time, Moldova remains on the list of countries with the lowest diesel prices. These include Malta—~€1.20; Turkey—~€1.42; Moldova—~€1.67;  Bosnia and Herzegovina—~1.68 €. The countries with the highest prices are Denmark—~2.46 €; the Netherlands—~2.30 €; and Switzerland—~2.32 €.
