During the visit, IMF representatives intend to assess the prospects for Ukraine’s economic development and discuss Kyiv’s progress in fulfilling its commitments under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program.

The International Monetary Fund mission, led by Gavin Gray, has begun working meetings with Ukrainian government officials and other stakeholders. The talks are expected to cover key issues of the country’s economic policy. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the IMF’s office in Ukraine.

The parties will pay particular attention to the macroeconomic and structural reforms that Ukraine has committed to implementing as part of its cooperation with the Fund.

Another topic of discussion will be Ukraine’s draft state budget for 2027. The parties will review the main parameters of the future financial document and related economic issues.

The mission’s working visit will mark the next stage in Ukraine’s cooperation with the IMF under the current financing program.
