At the same time, a rule will be in effect requiring at least one meeting with a mediator before filing a lawsuit. Only after that will it be possible to file a claim.
The service is not free. It costs 10% of the minimum wage, or 630 lei.
Interestingly, a mediator’s license costs only 450 lei. Any legally competent citizen of the Republic of Moldova or foreign citizen with a college degree and an impeccable reputation who has passed the certification exam can become a mediator.
