Incumbent Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko is stepping down. According to members of the country’s legislature, she may be appointed head of the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also announced a cabinet reshuffle and a personnel overhaul of Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies.

Read the article below to find out what is known so far about the personnel decisions regarding the Cabinet reshuffle.

Zelenskyy has already met with incumbent Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko and offered her another position, which, according to the president, is “related to a key partner country,” RBC-Ukraine reports.

Members of the Verkhovna Rada are naming Naftogaz CEO Serhiy Koretsky as a candidate for the position of the new prime minister. He could become the third prime minister since the start of the full-scale war.

“There will also be changes in the leadership of law enforcement agencies,” Zelenskyy said briefly. At the same time, RBC-Ukraine sources indicate that the announced changes in law enforcement agencies may concern the leadership of the State Bureau of Investigations. These changes may be linked to the recent scandal involving the brother of SBI Director Alexei Sukhachev (a court barred the publication of an investigation into real estate owned by Sukhachev’s brother). Zelenskyy has already held a meeting with Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
