The second is a regulation governing official controls in the meat processing sector. It establishes the conditions and criteria for competent authorities to verify compliance with food safety rules at all stages of production and logistics.
The third regulation concerns official controls carried out on certain categories of animals and animal products at border checkpoints, as well as during transit through the territory of the Republic of Moldova. It provides for the creation of an electronic information management system for controls in the agri-food sector, linked to the State Control Registry. The system will enable the automatic collection of primary information on inspections.
