RBC-Ukraine reports this, citing a statement from the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
Operations at the “Vinogradivka–Vulcanesti” international border crossing on the border between Ukraine and Moldova have been temporarily suspended following a Russian attack with strike drones. The strike damaged the crossing’s infrastructure.
Currently, no traffic is passing through the checkpoint, and customs procedures have been suspended. No information has yet been provided on when operations at the facility will resume.
Citizens and carriers are urged to take this situation into account when planning their trips and to use other operational border crossing points to cross the Ukrainian-Moldovan border.
Further updates on the resumption of operations at the “Vinogradivka–Vulcanesti” checkpoint will be provided.
Earlier, on the night of August 21, Russian forces launched a drone strike on the Bolhrad and Izmail districts of the Odesa region. As a result of the attack, infrastructure at the “Tabaki” border crossing on the border with Moldova was damaged, forcing its temporary closure.
