On the section of Sarmizecetusa Street between Kuză-Vodă Boulevard and Burebista Street in the capital’s Botanica district, the main road resurfacing work has already been completed, according to local authorities.

Specifically, work was carried out to mill the worn asphalt, lay a leveling layer, and raise inspection chambers and storm drains to the required height. Two layers of asphalt concrete, including a wear-resistant layer, were then laid over an area of approximately 9,000 m².

Work is currently underway to improve access roads to buildings and connections to adjacent streets.

Once all work is completed, road markings will be applied to the repaired section.

We would like to remind you that sidewalks on Sarmizechetusa Street in the capital’s Botanica district were previously repaired. In addition, a major reconstruction was carried out on both the roadway and the sidewalks along another section of the street—the stretch between Cuză-Vodă Boulevard and Decebal Boulevard.

In the Botanica district, work has also begun on the reconstruction of Hristo Botev Street on the section between Independence Street and Dacia Boulevard. The restoration of the sidewalks on this street had previously been completed.
