The sanction was imposed by Decision No. 180 of the Executive Committee of the NBM, dated July 30, 2026, and concerns the insurance agent “PROINFO ASIG” SRL.
According to the NBM, violations were identified regarding compliance with the conditions governing the insurance agent’s operations, including maintaining the authorized capital, ensuring that personnel meet legal requirements, and having professional liability insurance.
Violations were also identified regarding the submission of specialized financial statements and other breaches of the regulatory framework.
The NBM noted that the insurance agent issued civil liability insurance policies and “Green Card” certificates without collecting the full amount of insurance premiums.
