
According to Moldovan police, no one was injured as a result of the object’s fall or the subsequent fire.
Specialists from the police’s technical and explosives unit are at the scene. They are investigating the circumstances of the incident. A visual examination will be conducted first, followed by a specialized examination.
The incident occurred amid an air raid alert declared in Ukraine’s Odesa region.
This morning, the Moldovan Border Police reported traffic restrictions in the area of the Palanka–Mayaki — Udobnoe and Tudor — Starokozachye following the temporary closure of traffic on the bridge near the village of Mayaki — Udobnoe in Ukraine. Currently, increased passenger and vehicle traffic is being observed at the Otach–Mogilev-Podolsky border crossing. Drivers are advised to choose alternative border crossing points in advance—Oknitsa–Sokiryany or Ungury–Bronnitsa. The Border Police urges citizens to refrain from traveling to the Odesa region.
