
A delegation of representatives of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies, comprising representatives of the relevant commissions for foreign affairs, cooperation and defense, arrived in the Moldovan capital to coordinate efforts to deepen the bilateral cooperation in the fields of mutual interest.
The main goal of the Luxembourg officials’ work is to boost the inter-parliamentary dialogue and exchange best practices in the field of strengthening inter-state ties.
The delegation will hold consultations with members of the Commission for European Integration under the leadership of Vice-President of Parliament Doina Herman, as well as with members of the Friendship Group with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, headed by Virgiliu Pyslaruk.
Discussions are planned with the State Secretary of the Government Cristina Cherevate and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Karolina Perebinos.
It is important to mention that the visit comes ahead of the BENILUX-Moldova Business Forum, which will be held on June 11, 2026, in Maastricht (Kingdom of the Netherlands). Within the forum, representatives of the authorities and business circles will discuss Moldova’s investment potential, mechanisms of support for entrepreneurship and prospects for economic cooperation. Among the announced participants are the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Development and Digitalization, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, and representatives of the Invest Moldova Investment Agency.
