Nicushor Dan declined to say what kind of military support Romania is providing to Ukraine

"It would be better to keep secret" what kind of military aid Bucharest provided to Kyiv," said Romanian President Nicușor Dan during a visit to the Ukrainian capital, noting that declassification could reveal where Romania’s own defense capabilities have been weakened as a result of military shipments to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier, the Romanian Helsinki Committee won a case in the court of first instance against the Romanian government, which was ordered by the court to publish data on the military aid that Bucharest had provided to Kyiv.

A year ago, when asked about this issue, Romanian Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan neither confirmed nor denied reports that Bucharest spends 3% of its GDP on support for Moldova and Ukraine.
