According to the organization, a limited edition of 2,026 rings will be produced. One side of the ring will feature an image of the World Championship trophy, while the other side’s design will reflect the winning team’s identity—its symbols and the highlights of its championship run.
Each ring will be individually numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity. The rings will be crafted to the owners’ individual specifications and presented to the winning team once the customization process is complete.
Thirty rings from the series will be awarded to representatives of the winning team—the players and coaching staff. An additional 1,996 rings will be available to fans worldwide as an officially licensed FIFA product.
Immediately after the final match, the team captain and head coach will receive commemorative versions of the rings. The team will receive the main championship rings with custom designs at a later date—after each ring has been prepared for its specific owner.
The tradition of awarding championship rings originated in American sports. Similar awards are given to the winners of the major U.S. professional leagues, including the NBA and NHL, where rings have become one of the main symbols of a title victory.
The 2026 World Cup will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The final match will take place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
