According to statistics, in May of this year, tractor imports into the Ukrainian market rose to $65.5 million, an increase of nearly 9% year-over-year (though they fell by 21.6% compared to April of this year).
This was reported by Open4business, citing data from the State Customs Service.
In January–May 2026, the main suppliers of tractors to Ukraine were:
- Germany (19.8% or $71.4 million);
- the United States (about 19.1% or $71.3 million);
- China (18.6% or $66.6 million).
For comparison, in 2025, the same suppliers led the market, but the order of the top three was different: the United States ($70.1 million), Germany ($61.4 million), and China ($61.3 million).
In January–May 2026, exports of Ukrainian tractors totaled $3.94 million, with the largest shipments going to Belgium (26.16%). In 2025, exports totaled $2.5 million and were primarily shipped to Romania (43.7%).
In the European market, Ukrainian tractor manufacturers occupy a market niche that was previously tightly controlled by Belarusian-made agricultural machinery.
