The competition offers grants of up to 50,000 euros for projects that promote cross-border cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine and are aimed at strengthening the capacity of business support organizations, developing institutional partnerships, and enhancing regional competitiveness.
By launching this call for proposals, CMDA is implementing one of the key instruments of the EUroBRIDGE_UA_MD project, which aims to develop economic and institutional cooperation between Moldova and Ukraine and to prepare beneficiary organizations to access and manage European funds. The project aims to strengthen the capacity of government agencies, business support organizations, and civil society through the transfer of best practices, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
The call for proposals is open to organizations throughout the Republic of Moldova that are actively working in the field of economic development and innovation, specifically:
– innovation and competitiveness clusters;
– digital innovation hubs;
– regional development agencies.
Applicants are encouraged to develop projects in partnership with organizations from Ukraine that will yield concrete results for the development of cross-border cooperation and the strengthening of the regional innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Grants will be directed toward supporting initiatives that contribute to:
– the development of cross-border cooperation between Moldova and Ukraine;
– the creation and strengthening of strategic partnerships between organizations;
– the development of institutional capacity for managing European projects;
– the exchange of experience and the transfer of best practices;
– strengthening the support ecosystem for small and medium-sized enterprises;
– developing initiatives with sustainable economic and regional impact.
What is this project?
The EUroBRIDGE_UA_MD project is being implemented in Moldova by the Municipal Center for Entrepreneurship Development in partnership with the Odessa Regional Development Agency (Ukraine) and HYGIA (Romania). With a total budget of 1.99 million euros and a four-year implementation period, the project aims to develop cooperation mechanisms between the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, and Romania and to strengthen the capacity of organizations to take advantage of opportunities provided by European funds.
The project will implement grant mechanisms, training programs, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and activities aimed at developing the skills necessary for managing European projects and building sustainable partnerships.
