At the same time, streamlining procedures by extending customs officers’ working hours will not entail any additional costs for businesses.
Finance Minister Victoria Belous announced this decision in a video message on Facebook.
Specifically, she noted that the ministry intends to extend the working hours of the customs clearance service for businesses so that these services are available daily, including weekends, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
These services will be provided without additional fees on weekdays after 5:00 PM, as well as on weekends. More convenient and extended customs service hours will give companies greater flexibility in conducting foreign economic activities and reduce time losses for entrepreneurs.
It is proposed to implement the new schedule starting September 15. The ministry will provide further details later, the minister noted.
