In April, exports of petroleum products from the Middle East averaged 2.67 million barrels per day, BloombergNEF analysts calculated using Vortexa data. The figures are roughly in line with the March figure, but are 65% (4.9 mln b/d) below the levels that preceded the start of the US-Israeli war against Iran.
Current export volumes of refined products from the Middle East have stabilized at very low levels consistent with March 2026. OPEC oil production reached its lowest levels in 36 years due to escalating conflict.
