The bulk of the funds, 9.88 million lei, was approved by the relevant agency as part of support for regional LEADER rural initiative groups. Subsidies under this program are provided as part of the Republic of Moldova’s Growth Plan.
A small amount, approximately 8,500 lei, will go toward a post-investment payment to one beneficiary as part of support for agricultural production in protected agricultural areas (greenhouses, tunnels, etc.).
