Drupadi Murmu
“India is an important partner for the Republic of Moldova. Our country is ready to take advantage of opportunities for cooperation for the benefit of the citizens and business communities of both countries,” emphasized Mihai Popșoi as he welcomed the distinguished guest.
Following her first meeting with the Moldovan minister, President Drupadi Murmu stressed the importance of strengthening the bilateral legal framework, organizing interagency policy consultations, and deepening cooperation and coordination within international organizations.
Moldovan officials also hope that “President Drupadi Murmu’s first official visit will mark a new chapter in relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of India and reflects a mutual interest in developing a partnership focused on results and concrete projects,” according to a statement on the matter.
