This was reported by I-VIN.INFO, citing information from Natalia Zabolotna, head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.
Once the bridge is put into operation, the distance between Vinnytsia and the city of Soroki will be reduced by 28 kilometers. In addition, the new route will help reduce traffic at the “Mogilev-Podolsky–Otach” international border crossing.
Construction of the bridge is scheduled to be completed in October–November of this year. It is expected that, once opened, it will become an important transportation corridor between Ukraine, Moldova, and the countries of the European Union, facilitating faster cargo transportation, the development of economic cooperation, and the revitalization of border communities on both banks of the Dniester.
