The project on sustainable development of public transport “MOVE IT like Lublin” was completed in Chisinau. It was realized with the financial support of the European Union on the basis of a partnership between the Chisinau and Lublin city halls (Poland). The total budget of the project is 3.5 million euros, of which 3.325 million euros is an EU grant and 175 thousand euros are allocated by the Chisinau City Hall.

The shareholders of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (stock exchange symbol BVB) approved on September 29, 2025 the participation in the authorized capital of the new stock exchange in the Republic of Moldova in the amount equivalent to 400,000 euros, – reports Logos Press.

Chisinau’s public transport carries almost half a million passengers daily, of which more than 270 thousand use free transportation, Logos Press reports.

According to Veaceslav Ionita, an expert in economic policy at IDIS Viitorul, Chisinau has one of the lowest affordability of apartments compared to European capitals. To buy an apartment of 70 square meters in the first and second quarters of 2025, 15.5 and 14.8 average annual salaries were needed.

The Chisinau Mayor’s Office has signed a contract with a consortium of specialized institutions from Romania and the Republic of Moldova to carry out works on updating the General Development Plan (PUG) of the Chisinau municipality, Logos Press reported.
