As a reminder, it will take place on August 27 to mark the 35th anniversary of Moldova’s Independence Day. The rehearsal is being organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova.
According to the Chisinau City Hall, at the ministry’s request, on August 21 and 25, 2026, from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 on August 21 and 25, 2026, traffic will be prohibited on Stefan cel Mare Boulevard between Dimitrie Cantemir Square and Izmail Street, with the exception of public transportation on the section from Dimitrie Cantemir Square to Mihai Viteazu Street.
This measure has been taken in connection with the organization and conduct of a parade rehearsal involving infantry units and military equipment from the Ministry of Defense.
Given the preparatory festivities taking place, municipal public transportation will be rerouted to Bucharest Street during this period.
