According to the city administration, the former city villa of engineer Koropotnitsky, built in the 1930s, has been included in the Register of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Municipality of Chisinau.

The building was selected for the center’s construction by Eugen Doga himself, and the design was developed in collaboration with the master craftsman. It will be restored in phases over the course of 35 months. This extended timeframe is due to the site’s historical significance, as well as the municipal authorities’ commitment to its restoration.

The building will then be transformed into a space dedicated to culture and creativity. Upon completion of the project, the cultural center will serve as a venue for cultural and educational events, where exhibitions, workshops, music lessons, cultural events, and activities dedicated to the legacy of Eugen Doga can be organized.

The Bucharest City Hall notes that the tender process, announced on May 28, 2026, concluded on June 18, 2026. The total investment amounts to 18.985 million lei.
