According to the agency, at approximately 12:35 a.m., patrols heard sounds characteristic of drones and observed several explosions on Ukrainian territory. The drones crashed approximately 300 meters from the Moldovan border, damaging the Ukrainian Tabaki border crossing.

Operations at the Mirne–Tabaki border crossing have been suspended. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

According to the Ukrainian Border Guard Service, vehicles are being rerouted to other border crossings.

No drone debris or other hazardous objects have been found on Moldovan territory. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and urge citizens not to approach any potential debris and to report it by calling 112.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified that all measures required by law were taken following the incident, and units of the Border Police, Customs Service, and State Emergency Service have been mobilized in the region. The authorities are in contact with the relevant Ukrainian agencies and continue to monitor the situation in the border zone.

It should be noted that the previous night, during a massive attack on Ukraine, Russian drones struck a border crossing with Moldova in the Odesa region. At that time, a strike was recorded on a facility near the “Reni–Giurgiulești” international border crossing.
