Business welcomes the “zero” rate and reduction of the burden on the social fund

“Until the final version of the draft budget and tax policy is presented, it is too early to comment on the Ministry of Finance’s proposals in details,” said Igor Crapivca, vice-president of the National Confederation of Employers of Moldova. – At the same time, the government’s intention to keep the zero tax rate on undistributed profits, extending it to all enterprises, is unequivocally assessed positively by entrepreneurs.

– We can only hope that the government’s position on dividend tax, which enterprises pay at the rate of 6%, will eventually be as constructive. It is also positive that there is an intention to give more freedom to employers to distribute the wage fund, as well as to slightly reduce the burden on the social fund.

Finance Minister Andrian Gavrilita reiterated the commitment of the ministry to promote a simple, sustainable and efficient tax policy that promotes economic growth, investment and job creation.

He also emphasized that the Finance Ministry will continue to maintain an ongoing dialogue with representatives of the business community and social partners to improve the tax system that meets the needs of the economy and society.

Recall, the Ministry of Finance promised to publicize the draft fiscal policy for 2027 in the near future.
