The main purpose of the document is to prepare the country for full participation in the Single Market of the European Union and to ensure free circulation of services.

The strategic partnership between the two institutions, established back in 2023, is moving to a new stage of systemic development. The new agreement is aimed at supporting official Chisinau in the complex process of harmonization of national legislation with the EU acquis communautaire, as well as in the implementation of structural economic reforms.

In the next two years, bilateral cooperation will focus on the following priority areas:

Freedom of Service Provision: implementation of the Roadmap for the implementation of the Law on Freedom of Establishment of Service Providers and Freedom of Service Provision.

Compliance with EU standards: effective implementation of the EU Directive on services in the internal market.

Removal of barriers: development of modern economic analysis mechanisms to prevent the emergence of new barriers in the services sector.

Data-driven policy: strengthening dialog with the business community and building institutional capacity to develop evidence-based public policies with clear economic data.

The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization emphasizes that the success of these reforms will directly contribute to the competitiveness of the national economy, as well as to the creation of a predictable, stable and attractive business environment for foreign investment.
